Natures fireworks are going on in the channel at the moment, not sure whether the storms will still be active by the time they reach here but you never know!

Happy New Year to everyone, going to bed soon got a nasty cold which isn't shifting! The pregnant missus has it as well but at least I can take some drugs for mine! Posted Image

Ewww, just checking the BBC webcam for Parliament Square. see how busy it is when i get out of here. And there are a load of toilets lined up alonside the houses of parliament!

perhaps someone has finally realised how much BS comes out of that place!

wonder if the MP's have all gone home now or are standing outside on the riverside waiting for the fireworks. have woorked in whitehall for 7 years on New years eve night and viewing the sights plus getting feedback from others i dont know what the attraction is.

from where i worked i never found the display any good unless your on the top of the london eye. anywhere else youre cramped, pushed, cant go from your spot and surrounded by idiots with too much to drink. no fun

Should I do my fireworks now or wait until midnight. Looks like the rain will be here by midnight though

Folks, it's been great, from Essex to Plymouth to Stormchasing in TX/OK/KS, i have had a fabulous year, with many of you involved, virtually and otherwise. Here's to an equally fabulous 2014.

Ps. It better freaking snow.
