South East & East Anglia Regional Weather Discussion 03/01/14

Agreed, but I thought the forecast looked worse yesterday evening, so a slight glimmer.

 

It also appears (at this point) that we might not suffer so much from tomorrow night's system, so hopefully we can just grin and bear it, with little further issue for the moment.

 

I think it's still quite likely that further South (coastal) in the region will cop some more of it, but agreed, more Northern and Eastern areas seem to have been let off the hook a bit

Damn squall blew out the gas light again and now southernman can't relight it, last time i had to call someone it cost over a hundred quid.

Strange yellow thing in the sky over London. Any ideas? Sky has gone blue as well. Seems to ring a bell but memory not what it once was

The brook at the edge of our industrial estate has actually gone down today. I don't fancy it's chances later after a bit more run off and the potential overnight increase from more rain:
