Clear intervals and ground frost early last night, then occasional showers some quite heavy which lasted to mid morning. Bright intervals though the extensive cloud morning, a cloudy afternoon. Moderate to fresh westerly made it feel cold.

After a dry sunny start, showers moved in from the west, starting off with rain and hail.We then had two heavy showers around 6pm which quickly turned to snow and left a slushy covering on car roofs, wheelie bins etc.So first snow of the season here, all frozen now under clear skies.
