Had snow falling on numerous occasions had two particularly large snow events in December..snow has been lying since the end of October

Snowed for about 15 mins this morning some quite large flakes but did not settle (Market Rasen).

had a 3-4 inches of snow yesterday to top back up the lying snow..which was getting a bit patchy after the 3 week run of almost double digit days.

Had our first fall of snow in Derby this morning some quite big flakes for a while though none settled.We had a dusting last Monday morning whilst on holiday in Shropshire.

A couple of wet snow showers last weekend, some of them quite heavy, none of it lying though. Apart from that, only a bit of sleety weather around late November/December (I think?).

Last year was quite good, we had a number of snowy mornings from January through to March, some of which accumulated to a few cms. The year before that was probably worse than this one, nothing but some brief wet snow in December.

Some snow is forecast here on Friday night into Saturday. Its likely to be very marginal, obviously, but any snow is better than none!

Snow? What snow haha. Not a single flake this year so far, and doesn't look promising in the future either. Knowing the way it goes, we will get a sunbtantial amount in March!

Saw a few flakes falling in the hills around Belfast and a few cm when driving over mountain passes twice but that's all so far this winter
