Oh my... Posted Image

GFS most of the time does over do it and remember it is the pub run and looks like it's had a large Curry on the way home.... Too much wind for me... he he!

By the way if it did come off...Well all i can say is easily 60-70 mph gusts most of the time....possibly 80mph even inland Posted Image

Currently -1.3°C (at 8am), much different to yesterday's 8am reading of 6.8°C.

Might go to the shop whilst there's hardly any wind at all - should be one of those nice chilly mornings. Posted Image

We managed an air frost eventually, temp is still near freezing, that precipitation has reached here and is giving... sleet that is turning to light rain! What is the matter with this winter? It's definitely cold enough for snow! Rain also being reported in Wales at 1C or so. Can't be warm uppers that's the problem if it's snowing higher up, must be the winter 13-14 curse.

The problem is its too marginal low down, where precipitation is heavy and with altitude it is snow

The temperatures didn't seem marginal to me- was almost exactly freezing when that precipitation started yet there was barely any snow in it, it was 80% rain. Just looked out now and it's completely rain. The snow report in Wrexham is even more strange, there's nothing on the Llangollen webcam and Capel Curig was reporting rain at 0.6 C.

Edit: Just checked th Llangollen cam again and it is snowing, but barely sticking. Still better than here though, and it's lower.

Beautiful here this morning - what a difference it makes waking up to sunshine and bright skies rather than the dross we have had recently. Chilly but no wind made the school walk very pleasant.

Yep, no part of Wrexham centre is above 100M. It is mostly around 80. A few miles from the centre at almost 300m we have 3/4 centimetres. Very nice surprise.

Lovely to see a frost this morning, but before it had even melted we had rain, not even sleet — how unfair is that.

The last Met Office warnings update was Sunday morning, Still waiting on the new updates, Interestings to see what they'll make of Wednesdays incoming storm!

The track of the storm hasn't been nailed yet and could change... Wouldn't like to be in there shoes atm.
