Im sure it will still cant believe i havent had one day of lying snow..it snowed Christmas eve morning for like 5 mins.

I'm not expecting anything more than 3-5cm on the tops around here, cold pooling down from Canada for sure but given daytime highs are at 6-9'c any lying snow, especially later on into spring, becomes harder to come across.

If you have got altitude then you have got a chance but I'm not convinced at lower levels. Manchester Airport latest TAF suggest nothing wintry as regards to the frontal system. Any showers that follow brings more hope but around here, the wind direction doesn't look favourable. It has been one of those seasons where the cards and dice are just stacked and loaded against us.

If it snows great but I'm almost wanting a snowless winter to put this winter firmly were it belongs.... in the file marked mild, wet and miserable....

 

Although I doffed my cap to it this morning when we had the first authentic 'air' frost since....erm....so long I can't remember.
