Cracking storm here in Gloucester. Hail, fork lightening and car and house alarms going maniac ! Boom Boom ! Bring it on

And a line of showers behind with our name on later perhaps... though the track looks more towards Bristol perhaps ?

What a winter !

Looked out to see if it was hail just as the lightening flashed, really made me jump hadn't seen it coming or heard any rumblings of thunder!

Just as I read reports I told the mrs a storm was coming and then almighty hail bounced off windows followed by snow. Really nice and gone a lot colder now

Yes you can already see it setting up shop. Very exciting . I have a thin layer of snow and hail and much more to come by the looks of it. Should be some accumulations of snow on high ground .

Looks like Bristol and Gloucester have had very similar thundersnowstorms (!!!) to what we had last night down here. Enjoy but stay safe. 2 homes in Stithians nr Falmouth caught fire from lightning strikes last night and disruption on the Penryn Campus due to lightning strikes affecting internet and phone services today.

Best white-out of the season so far! About a mil of hail covering all over the garden - as BristleBoy would say:

No rain since around 8 or so.. No more thunder or lightening, only that one flash I mentioned and I heard a slight rumble about 5 mins later but not sure if it was the wind messing with me. A breeze every couple minutes or so but the wind has completely calmed since earlier. I think it must just be missing me.. Don't want it anyway though ha!
