I was looking through CFS, seems plausible IMHO.  March looks very wet/cool.

Or was this winter to make up for last summer?

I don't believe in weather auditors.

It could be just a bog standard summer.

I'm hoping for suppressed temps, sombre skyscapes and lots of rain. If we do have to endure heat may it come in two-day bursts and be tempered by a violent thunderstorm at the end of each one.

I would go for neither a bbq summer nor a washout one,i reckon an average summer is most likely.

Its easy and most probably best to sit on the fence at this stage, This past winter has made a mockery of some long range forecasts to its best not to commit at this stage. But last summer finally showed that high pressure and heat can hang around for long periods, after years of waiting.

Its a bit too early for a thread like this when we aren't even in Spring yet. Anything at the moment is mere speculation so closing it for now.
