Mostly cloudy and misty to start this morning, some bright spells, visibility improving slightly towards observation. A mostly cloudy day followed with showers spreading in from the NE, these were moderate locally, a short moderate shower of soft hail was noted her during late afternoon producing a temporary light cover of grapules.

    Yesterday: clear, frosty start, rather cloudy and dry most of the day. Showery rain late afternoon and early evening.  Maximum 9.4, minimum -0.6.  Wind light E.

    A mainly cloudy day with short, blustery showers of sleet and small hail. The showers merged into a longer spell of sleet and ice pellets during the early evening but this has now cleared.

    A cool cloudy start with a low of 3.5c.Sunny spells briefly broke through around midday giving a spring like feel with temps reaching 9.c.Showers soon spread in from the east during the afternoon consisting of hail and sleet,and very dark skies.Temp at 5.30 had fallen to 5.5c during a heavy hail shower.Now cool cloudy and damp.
