    after a wet evening and early night it is now dry but overcast, 11.8mm in the last 24 hours here, and even sleet in some of the heavier bursts last evening, a low at my station overnight of 5.2C, no wind

    Variable cloud overnight after yesterdays rain. The day dawned cloudy, damp underfoot. Bright with hazy sunny spells developing this morning. Feeling cold in the brisk NE wind.

    Mostly cloudy overnight, odd light shower. Bright spells so far this morning, feeling cold in the moderate NE wind. The morning saw a few sunny spells, showers building by late morning and in to the afternoon with soft hail and a rumble of thunder, also accompanied by rapid drops of temperature. From mid afternoon the rain with frequent soft hail became more prolonged and moderate. There was further moderate rain in to the evening, this stopping around 20:00 GMT.

    Last night began with a period of sleet and occasional ice pellets but it became dry from about 2030 and the rest of the night was mainly dry and cloudy.

    Currently it's dry and cloudy but attempting to brighten up.

    A dry and cloudy morning with a few brighter intervals. The early afternoon was also dry but from 1445 there were a few short showers of rain and hail.

    Clear spells and frost last night.

    Rather cloudy today, some hazy sunny intervals. Heavy and prolonged showers 16 to 1700 dropped the temperature from 7c to 4c in the hour. Light to moderate NE/ variable breezes.
