    Fine presentation

David MacKay, Scientific Advisor to the Department of Energy and Climate Change, UK addressed energy issues at a macro and micro scale with the Harvard University community and beyond.

I personally think that we need to plough a heap of money into fusion research and get it working. It needs to be an Apollo size undertaking. Once we have mastered it then it's job done as far as zero emission high output energy production. Progress is being made and it will be interesting to see what happens with ITER, and recent breakthroughs made in understanding plasma stability at NIF in the USA, but it's way too slow.
