Thats where our snow went , seriously though thats impressive , going on holiday to japan next year unfortunately in the summer so wouldn't see it , shame !!!.....

Wow they are having some snow   Japan’s NHK news network reported that, as of the 18th, Niigata Prefecture Tsunan had snow height of 207 cm (6 ft – 8 inches), Nagano Nozawaonsen had 183 cm (6 ft) of snow, Gunma Minakami had 171 cm (5′-7″) of snow, etc.

They sure get it in the Mountains and NW yes but I bet Tokyo has had little or nowt, must ask the wife!
