    Light-moderate rain yesterday evening cleared before midnight and there were a few hours of dry but foggy weather before another area of light-moderate rain moved in from the south west early this morning. This has now cleared and it's brightening up with with a few glimpses of sunshine.

    A much better day than forecast without any heavy showers forecast. One or two spots of rain this morning after the main band of light rain moved away. Since then mostly cloudy but the odd sunny spell has left it on the mild side.

    Spells of rain, heavy at times last night, clearing by 0430, accompanied by a fresh SE then South wind.

    Sunny intervals and a few passing showers this morning. Became mostly cloudy early afternoon, frequent, often heavy and prolonged showers since 1400. Very heavy downpours mid afternoon especially. Fresh to strong SE wind has eased somewhat this evening. Cool since the rain came, there was a 4c drop in the hour to 1500, from 12c to 8c.

    Early morning rain and hill fog cleared by 0815 g.m.t and the resf of the day was dry and breezy with sunny intervals.

    No max' gust speed as the anemometer on the roof has stopped working and it's a major job to take down the mast and sort it out.

    a rather cool and diassppointing day for April, and after early morning sun has gone, some heavy showery rain PM (Torrential at times) . Temp around 8c 2pm, Max of 12c.
