A couple of very brief ( a few seconds ) heavy showers during the early hours and a light-moderate shower in the last hour. It's now brightening up, with the hill fog clearing, and feeling very humid.

I am hopeful this cloud will become confined to the coast during the day allowing brighter spells to develop inland

Showers just after midnight with distant but sometimes bright lightning to NE. Mild night.

Mainly cloudy, some bright intervals to 1700, one heavy shower 1430. .Light to moderate SE breeze this morning, veered moderate SSW after 1400. Rather warm to early afternoon, then quite cool feeling (cold front passage).
