Rain most of the morning, a dry spell around lunchtime (just long enough to dry the grass out and do a bit of taming work in the garden after 2 weeks away on holiday travelling around Crete) and then some heavy showers in the afternoon.  Dry by early evening with sunny intervals.  Maximum 15.7, minimum 10.3.  Wind light S.

The weather in Crete was generally typical for May - mostly sunny with maxima of 24-30 but cool and cloudy last Sunday-Monday with rain on Sunday afternoon and temperatures struggling to reach 20C while here in Reading it was reportedly nearing 25.
