Nice and Sunny morning at Hornsea clouded over by midday. Left early due to a bad chest and soon ran into rain outside Hornsea. Odd spot of rain in Sheffield for the last hour or so looks much worse on the radar than it is.

Looking at most of the above reports, it seems that Reading's on a different planet today.  Overcast and cold with persistent rain all day, occasionally heavy.  Maximum 12.2, minimum 5.8.  Wind light N.  Reminds me of the miserable Spring Bank Holiday of 2007 when the temperature failed even to reach double figures here.
