A pretty foul start to the day.

 

Interestingly it looks very much at the moment like a typical Pembrokeshire Dangler set up albeit not that intense.

The drizzle and fog cleared by 1930 g.m.t yesterday evening and the rest of the night was dry and cloudy; it's the same now.

Dry and clam to start the morning here in Darlington a lot of cloud around at the moment but that will hopefully start and break up as the day goes on

wow, it has not rained overnight and it is dry although cloudy even with a hint of the sun through the cloud! The first time since 21st if there is no rain. A very light ESE drift and a low of 9.9C

goodness me I saw the sun this afternoon, almost down to 4/8 total cover at one point a short time ago!

 

And shush it has not rained since yesterday evening, the first 'dry' 24 hours in over a week

Apart from the occasional spot of light rain this morning it's been a dry and overcast day. The 4th consecutive day with no sunshine today, the longest sunless spell in May since 1994 when there were 7 consecutive days.
