Yesterday:

 

Mild, cloudy overnight with a little light rain through the early hours, a clearance arrived around dawn allowing a sunny start. Cloud bubbling towards observation. Sunny spells through the morning, more cloudy by afternoon, staying mostly dry here apart from the odd spit of drizzle. Sunny spells again by late afternoon. Further cloud with heavy showers breaking out arrived during mid evening.

A much better than forecast after the drab start. Some pleasant Sunny spells and dry and so far no sign of the the forecast heavy thundery showers. It has now clouded over so perhaps some showers may develop later.
