    Most of the night was dry with variable cloud cover but there was a light shower during the early hours.

    A dry start to the morning with sunny intervals but there's been a short moderate shower in the last half hour and a rumble of thunder to the north east.

    Clear spells overnight with the odd light shower through the early hours. Sunny spells so far this morning, cloud quickly building towards observation with some short bursts of heavy rain, several rumbles of thunder heard.

    Variable cloud overnight with the odd light shower. Sunny spells developing through the morning and in to the afternoon. Cloud bubbled enough by mid afternoon to produce some short heavy showers accompanied by thunder here with small hail falling locally producing a brief thin cover. The showers cleared away through the evening.

    Nice clear and sunny start to the day - cloud started to appear at around 10:30 and cloud cover increased to 100% around 12:00 and now raining heavy-ish but not too bad.... Temp around 16c from a high of 18.5c at 11:00.....

     

    But I notice fun and games in the Midlands at the moment....

    yes see my post in the storms thread, no t or l but heavy rain at times, most recently 80mm p hr, fortunately for less than 1 minutes but enough to find a chink at the top of my bay window!. Also raising yet again my pond level, the fountain now just gurgles under water!

    A showery warm day with mostly moderate Thundery showers. Most of the activity skirted round my home address and work address with a skill a stunt pilot would be proud of.

    Mostly cloudy to 1100, then sunny intervals, with better sunny spells after 1300, became very hazy after 1600 though.

    Clouded over by 1800 with a little light rain. Warm in the sun earlier, moderate SSW wind.

    A couple of heavy showers accompanied by thunder this morning and one near miss from a 'real' thunderstorm. All this cleared away by 1140 g.m.t and the rest of the day was dry and warm with sunny intervals.

     

    At 1800 g.m.t;

    Max' today; 20.0c

    Min' last night; 10.6c

    Grass min; 8.0c.

    Rainfall from 0800-1800 g.m.t; 10.8 mm
