Estofex have a level 1 warning out of the centre of the UK (central/northern England), mainly for the risk of organised thunderstorms and tornadoes.

Looks like there will be more German webcam viewing tonight, lucky gits.

Sounds promising, already clouds going up around here and looking quite threatening. Time will tell! :)

I think Ireland will do well again along with some northern areas of England with the highest risk reserved for more central and eastern areas of the country - Yorkshire and Lincolnshire in particular with the highest levels of SB CAPE & negative lift index.

Gorgeous morning here, clear blue skies and looks so settled - last day today for a chance of a big storm. Slap bang in the middle of the level 1, though only the 15% risk of lightning nearby.

Sunny here. Warming up nicely. Hopefully the flow is more southerly today, as everything missed me Yesterday. Liverpool airport TAF going for heavy thunderstorm hail this afternoon.

Well, I've just looked at the charts and have seen high values of both ML CAPE and SB CAPE around here today with some low Lifted Index's. Also, BBC Weather are going for this today.

Looks like today will the last day for storms for a while as high pressure looks to be settling things down for the foreseeable future. Hopefully it'll be a good day! :)

Well we can say it's the last day of storms.. I suspect there will be some home grown storms as our heatwave gets underway

Are the storms going to be mainly in western areas today or is it just anyone's guess?

Could crop anywhere really given the widespread SB CAPE, I think more central and eastern areas may do better with more available energy on offer, lets see how the day pans out! :)

Just had short sharp downpour from a tiny spec on the radar. A shower with more oomph developing to the east of me over central Cumbria.

Well Met office show heavy showers for my area later this afternoon...but I think we will likely be the breeding ground to make storm babies head NE into the area marked level 1 by Estofex.

Who knows..I might be lucky if any develop to my SW!

It's cool though. We should have a big storm chasers club.. like they have in USA .. and have a map of all our static and moving livecams.
