I'm not actually a million miles away from Kempston, as in the next village along and it got dark here, but no rain to speak off and now the sun is back out. Yeps we got cells coming out of no where, will be doing my daily rec of whats about in a sec when i do the school run.

Getting very dark around here, something has developed fairly quickly. But, as of yet, no rain.

Oh right well hello neighbor haha! Sky looking very convective this afternoon, i do hope a storm makes it into the bedford bowl! sun is shining and the ground is drying out rapidly! I have high hopes for something in the next hour or two, hope you get your storm fix after you finish the school run!

My little one wanted to go the longer way home, so perfect to see the shower you got, be it looking a tad stormy!  Would of taken a pic but my phone really isn't very good at cloud pics. But here's hoping.

Edit - just looked at radar and that shower has intensified. Cell heading MK way and that one with little ole me in the middle with nothing but sun :(

Storm appears to be building to the south of MK over the chilterns, can see the dark base and very tall cloud tops. A Couple of smaller cells popping up to the north of here although fairly weak at the minute, with lots of smaller towering cumulus filling the sky. Hardly any wind and it's suddenly feeling extremely humid outside.

Looking at the storms they appear to be very localised and of the pulse variety, quickly building producing lightning and then decaying fairly rapidly.

Looking at development and the direction we need to be watching to the NW / SE of Coventry. Any storms that do fire up should move right across our areas in an hour or so.  :clapping:
