July weather photography competition

Recommended Posts

Please post here your photos for the July weather photography competition.

The rules are:

  • One entry per person. You can post several photos but please nominate your entry before the deadline.
  • The photo must be taken during July 2014
  • Photograph must be your own work
  • Deadline for entries is 7th of August
  • Entries must be related to the weather. Clouds, snow, frost, lightning, sunsets over the sea. A dried up river after a drought, a flooded field etc.

After all entries are posted a poll will be opened. The poll closes after 7 days. The member with the most votes wins.

Have seen some good photos floating around this month so expectations are high!

Here are the joint winners of June's competition, by Beverley Lass and Karl83:

I don't know if this counts, as it was taken across the channel but I will put it here anyway:p

I'm surprised the photography section on Netweather is so quiet seeing how active the other sections of the forum are.

We need to encourage more people to post photographs!

Maybe another rule was that photos must be presented as they were taken e.g no photoshop or special effects? Simply because some people may not have access to such tech.

I think a little artistic license is fine, e.g. contrast/saturation tweaking etc.

I agree with regards to completely photoshopped images though
