This was the sunset that I caught earlier this evening. I don't think I've ever seen such a pink sunset before!

A photo of a sunrise and a sunset that I taken while on holiday. The first picture is a sunrise taken from somewhere in South East Somerset on 23 August and the second photo is a sunset taken near Lyme Regis, Dorset on 28 August.

A photo of the clouds during last night's sunset. It's a shame I didn't wait a bit longer to be honest, because the sky went bright red after this, but there was a damn tree blocking my view.

Sunsets can be disappointing here with a big hill to the west, not so bad at sunrise until proper winter anyway.

Nice shot 4, Yes late Autumn/Winter light is great for catching sun rise/sets. Will be out a lot with the camera as usual.

Great idea for a thread Scott, one of my favourite things am a bit of a sunset geek..

 

This was from Tuesday evening this week.

 

 

One thing to tie in with these and looking to Iceland, keeping an eye on the plume from Bardarbunga, you can get some crazy sunsets where Volcanic Eruptions are mixed into the equation.

 

Here are a few more if folks like them for desktop etc.

This is in a folder I have for wallpapers, am pretty sure it is Canada some place, from last Winter during the Vortex onslaught. Sorry, can't be more precise !

Nice pic. I've ordered a new cable for my camera charger, I missed an absolute belter of a whole sky red sunrise the other morning, it would have been an epic photo.
