A little damp to start,then a mostly sunny day until evening when it clouded over,max 18 deg,min 12 deg

Disappointing day after yesterdays best day for the whole of August in these parts. Dull and overcast most of the day with some periods of light rain. Clouds finally started to break at about 5.45. Relatively mild but sun came too late to make any impression on the temperature - about 17/18C.
