I've been following it and I'm in London. Just not much I can say at this point as I'm not an expert on forecasting.

I'm further south in dover.

I don't think the lack of Southern potential is the reason, I think Bawbag was talked about a lot despite it being more of a Northern event. I think a lot of people I know don't raise an eyebrow anymore because of the constant scaremongering by the Express et al, so weather warnings just seem to go over people's heads now.

This unfortunatly

Possibly 80MPH on exposed western coasts from the met office. Might be worth me moving some loose things in the garden.

Edit - I see that is for northern Scotland. Possible 70MPH for my coastal area. We'll see come midnight-ish onwards

Indeed, getting quite concerning now! A slightly more northerly element to the winds and a little bit more of a kink to that low could place East Anglia and Kent in danger. A trip to the wash might be worth it for me, kings Lynn area perhaps!

The three day flood outlook has a low risk for the Northern part of East Anglia on Tuesday, but it's a timing thing. Low pressure track and wind direction seem to rule out a December last year type event, though somewhere like Cley might see some spectacular waves and overtopping if the worst of the wind is timed with high tide.

Thought it might of been busier in here but like someone said earlier people are really listening to warnings as the newspapers keep scaremongering.

Batten down the hatches tie your trampolines down and anything else thats loose.

What time frame are we looking at for this to kick off

Early hours with the strongest winds from about daylight through to early afternoon.

Could be an interesting rush hour for many.
