A very autumnal morning. Cloud thickened overnight to bring rain by around 0300 g.m.t, the rain becoming moderate -heavy at times and accompanied by a strong SE wind.

Wet and windy but it's starting to ease now. 9.2c with a gale force Se'ly wind, recorded a gust to 65mph.

Very autumnal,strong southerly winds,the heavy rain has moved through with 14mm falling.The current temp is a cool 9.9 degrees

The worst of the rain has almost cleared through now

 

The temperature has dropped since just after 09:15 it was 9.5c its now 9.2c, the last time we failed to reach double figures here in Darlington was way back in late March our high is forecast to be around 11c so lets see what this afternoon brings

Moderate-heavy rain this morning, giving way to moderate-heavy drizzle by early afternoon and then intermittent light rain from 1330 g.m.t. A windy start but the wind decreased considerably as the main rain area cleared to the east; hill fog developed by 1100 g.m.t and persisted until 1800 g.m.t. 25.0 mm  of rain fell from this system but it was split over two 'rainfall days'
