    Occasional showers and thunderstorms last night, especially 0300, and 0430 to 0500, with torrential bursts and vivid close lightning with loud thunder, moderate to fresh SW breeze, gusty in storms.

    Cloud and sunny intervals today which was mainly dry. Moderate to fresh SW breeze, quite mild.

      There'll be exceptionally warm temperatures for the time of year affecting much of western Europe during the coming days, but that warmth will only graze the UK for now.
