    A dry, cloudy, mild and breezy night and no change so far this morning. Excellent visibility this morning; judging by the clarity of objects 80 km away I would estimate double that.

    It's an outrageously good day here in Portsmouth. Nearly 100% blue skies, little wind, and much to my surprise, the sun is packing a punch. The weather right now would be very reasonable in early June. Somewhere will surely reach 20C today. Is December really 5 weeks away?

    Being Glaswegian I frequently end up forgetting what sunlight actually looks like. This weekend and today being one of these times.

     

    I'll need strong shades for the next time cloud cover clears. Probably next March.
