Cold start, finished work this morning at 06:30 and had to scrape the ice of the car!

still clear sky here but 150m and sky obscured at the airport 3 miles away, fingers crossed it does not move west! A lot of fog in the Trent and Vale of York valleys looking at the observations east and SE and N of here.

Cloudy overnight, a short spell of moderate rain through the early hours. Dawning mostly cloudy, damp underfoot. Cloud clearing away east this morning allowing a sunny start. Staying bright with sunny spells, some clouds building threatening showers, though none fell at this location.

Other than a period when the Fog that lifted out the valley which bought some dense patches in places for around an hour, It was a dry day with long sunny spells. Felt much cooler than of late with a high of 8.9c.

Cold misty start with our first ground frost of the season.  Dry with sunny spells in the morning, cloudier in the afternoon with a couple of light showers around lunchtime.  Maximum 12.6, minimum 2.1.  Wind light N.

A brief, light shower early yesterday evening followed by a dry night with clearing skies, and fog developing in the valleys before dawn. The fog extended up to around 290 m at times before clearing rapidly after 0900 to leave a dry and mainly sunny day.
