I suspect it''s a wind up and gained traction due to the fondness for some groups to vilify Oil companies as the root of all evil.
That snopes story is remarkably similar.

I would believe it if you show a link on the VW site to this miraculous car.
Or are they suppressing interest in their own wonderful technology too  :nonono:

Wasn't the car that could do 1,000 miles per pint of water also banned in the US? Some of these claims do seem a tad questionable, S.

Meanwhile, this challenge is for real: 3,000km  across Oz with 0 (zero!) fuel consumption (Ok, they do have conventional support vehicles monitoring performance)

It all comes down to money and profit from the oil companies in the end,they are powerful.

Well at least water or electric is clean energy unlike oil.

Car gets 400+ MPG.

His car got 463 MPG and ran on fumes.

Literally running on vapor!
