Standard November fair for the commute down the M5, dull, mild but dry for a change. Car was reading 11C the whole journey.

Looks a bit wet again down to the southwest. Just need the rain to hold off until 12.30 in Bristol, don't fancy walking around town in the rain.

Very strong and gusty wind here but heavy rain seems to have pivoted off the coast of Cornwall and Wales now in the firing line.

Feeling quite mild, currently 15°C and cloudy. There's been so potent gusts today, I expect a few trees have come down around the area.

Strange day really, it begun with a mixture of Stratocumulus and clear sky which provided a 'shepherd's warning' sunrise and was dry until 10.00 although cloudy. There was an hour of moderate rain after which the sky cleared to 15 minutes of sunshine before turning dull again with drizzly rain since. I guess there have been 2 close together fronts moving across and the brief sunshine came in between them. There have been 2 constants ; a gusty wind and balmy feel.

Just been woken up by a few good bits of thunder and lightning. Nice surprise!

I was initally woken by a torrential downpour at 02.40 then there was thunder to the West soon after.

Woken by lightning at 02.10 this morning, three more massive flashes, and attendent thunder, between then and 02.20.  Seemed to be to the east, certainly not overhead.  13.4mm in the gauge a couple of minutes ago, clearance now coming over.

There was some thunder around 2am and a bit of heavy rain, but it wasn't as bad as the forecasts suggested. Just 6.5mm fell here.
