Hello everyone!! I'm back for the Winter!! I really hoping for a white Christmas if not, a sunny and frosty one for change.  Its been a pretty awful Christmases recently. I think I remembered Christmas 2012 is quite mild and Christmas 2013 last year is stormy and mild too.

The today's models runs are disappointing, maybe its because its Monday today. Mondays tends to be a depressing day when everyone gets back to work.  :D

This day last year I saw my only lying of snow of "winter" 2013.

Only a couple of cm first thing in the morning and lower down the valley there was nothing more than a bit of slush but who could have guessed that even up here, this would be the end of the snow for at least 12 months.

Decent days weather again and if the old saying of red sky at night is to be believed then maybe another to follow tomorrow.

As is probably the case with the majority on here, the wish is for something more like what is happening on the other side of the Atlantic but if that can't happen then I'd take this over mild and wet any day.

Nice to see the old WetNether Region threads up and running and reporting days of endless NO. :D

Hope you're all well - here's hoping for a whiter 14/15 than last year's mess!

Yeah the north west snow shield has been in for its annual service and is now ready and waiting to deflect any stray flakes away from the region.
