    Good article on Look East news tonight, Mole rats do not get cancer, so they are now the subject of a study to find out why (as a mammal) and if it could be turned into a cure.

    Personally i think that genetic engineering will be something that slashes cancer rates. We know that other than nutrition/obesity (free radical ect..) that many people have a predisposition from their genome so i suspect that through designer babies/genetic engineering we will reach a place whereby certain genes are turned off.
