No frost here though there was some before I went to sleep last night. Cloudy with some sunny spells and quite windy here. A local weather station say 42 MPH gusts from the east. http://www.capelcliffsweather.co.uk/

 

gone down to 38 now, but still didn't expect this wind at all.

Clear spells overnight, widespread frost, also thick freezing fog, visibility <100 yards. This morning, frost, shallow thick freezing fog, vis still <100 yds, though sky visible overhead revealing a a good deal of Cirrostratus.

Clear and turning cold overnight with a widespread frost. Hazy sunny spells so far this morning, frosty. The frost slowly lifted through the morning in hazy sunny spells, staying cool. Ground frost setting in soon after dusk.

A dry and mainly clear night, and a less windy one than the previous night. A long way from an air frost but the grass min' was lower due to the lighter wind.

Thick fog in the valleys by dawn and it's persisted all morning in places. A dry morning here with sunny spells at first but thickening cloud since 1130.

 

At 0900.

Early air frost but the cloud arrived in the early hours and it was raining by sunrise.  Cold and overcast with rain most of the day - that makes 4 days of persistent rain out of the last 5 here.  Maximum 7.6, minimum -0.7.  Wind light E.

A dry morning with sunny intervals before it clouded over around 1130 and then remained cloudy for the rest of the day. A dry day apart from a few spots of light rain around 1500. Valley fog persisted untl around 1330 before clearing.

Overnight low of -1.5c, before cloud early hours and then patchy rain just after Dawn. Cloudy thereafter with odd spots of rain. More organised and heavy rain arriving after 4pm, still raining now.
