    Clear intervals and frost last night, mostly light showery rain at times after 0400. light NNW breeze.

    Showers cleared around 0900, cloudy to 10am then sunny spells. Cloudier after 1400 with occasional brief rain and 

    hail showers. Moderate to fresh north to NW breeze.

    A fairly cloudy morning with light patchy rain around lunchtime clearing to leave a cold clear afternoon.A heavy evening shower made the temperature drop from 6 degrees to 4 degrees which briefly turned the rain to sleet before clearing.Clear skies now.

    Most of the day was dry with sunny spells but at 1610 a short, sharp shower of sleet and small hail moved in from the north west, briefly turning to wet snow as it ended and the temp' fell to 1.5c.
