Heavy Snow for several hours last night, but temp just a tad to high at present, hence not to much laying, expecting more snow today.

location on the Cheviots North of Otterburn.

The A68 Carter Bar was closed overnight due to stranded vehicles rather than amount snow - problem being repeated very heavy snow showers covering even salted roads I think
There's a light dusting on the moors here.

Very heavy snow at present, in Rochester Northumberland

The A68 at my location is covering fast and traffic is now moving at a very slow rate.

Unless snow stops soon, its possible Cater Bar may be closed again.

cheers all

Roads here are becomming a little iffy, mainly down to the speed some people drive at.

I did a quick visit to our "local village" shop 6 miles away, and on the way there a Tesco petrol tanker had gone off the road...

Temps currently sitting at +1C.

Cheers all

We had some sleet here this morning and again this afternoon when I took the dog for a walk. Big slushy flakes mixed up in the rain on the windscreen...
