Anyone heading out to watch this tonight/tomorrow? Waning gibbous moon does rise at the back of 10 though so will wash out the faintest but we should still see the brightest coming through :) Forecast looks good for most of Scotland, eastern N.Ireland and the bulk of England

I didn't go out but I was out emptying the bin in work at 6 yesterday and saw an amazing meteor at first I actually thought it was a firework really bright and vivid.

It's been cloudy the last few nights, so I'm hoping it will clearer tonight so I can see.

I'm not at home atm, I'm down in Milton Keynes. Does anyone know any places with nearby with relatively dark skies I could go to?

They're emanating from a point near the constellation Gemini hence the name. So if you can find that, as it will obviously move throughout the night, but generally atm a SE direction yeah

Final count of the evening 33. Not too bad considering I couldn't stay out too long.

I let the dog out about 4oclock this am and saw a fairly bright one pass by Orion. Too cold to stand in my jammies with the door open though.
