Fog has lifted here, just let dogs in back garden and it's a bit drizzly/light rain.

Clear blue sky, sunshine and frost on the ground when I left home for the seven mile trip to Turf Moor.

Thick fog in Burnley and damn cold although the damp raw variety rather than the wrap up and enjoy the outdoors in winter variety that was on offer at home.

Listening to others on here I think we were the exception having a glorious start although we had joined in with mist and murk by the time I got home again.

OMG! NEWSFLASH!!! The man at the window can see the houses across the street as the fog has cleared up!

Not foggy anymore ,can see asda which is strange a we don't have one in dalton !!!.

We too had a glorious frosty start with min of -3 degrees, the frost lifted around 10am but as soon as it did the cloud and mist descended with temperatures thereafter held between 2 and 3 degrees. It has been a very raw dank sort of damp, certainly needed the layers on.

Certainly not my favourite type of weather, I don't mind cold but prefer clear air rather than today's horrible conditions where even the simple job of breathing seemed hard work.

Very fine/ light snow here 0.5C

Snow with uppers above freezing?! I know Buxton is a snow magnet but I wasn't aware it could also defy physics!
