    Cold again got down to -1.9c the 8th air frost in a row the best frosts of the winter,expect theres lots of fog down on low ground

    26c, windy with a sandstorm. Visibility is getting worse

    I sincerely hope I never have to put in a report containing those words!

     

    A clear, frost- free and breezy night has taken its' toll on the snow cover which is now well under 50%; the hills about 15 miles north are still white though.

    Currently it's dry, sunny and breezy.

    Yet another mild day despite the high temps and unbroken sunshine there's still some snow in the garden. Ground frost although the grass min was above freezing at the time of measurement the bottom of the garden had frost and there was patchy frost on the way to work. So isolated patches of frost.

    Max Temp 8.8C now 5.6C

    Clear and sunny all day after a very heavy ground frost. The afternoon felt very pleasant in the sunshine.
