Does somebody, especially from Germany, remember the 28th of July 2013? On this day, a severe HP-Supercell hit the city of Reutlingen in SW-Germany, causing damage of approx. 3.6 billion Euros, making it the most expensive hail storm in German history. Besides hundreds of injured people, luckily nobody was killed by the devastating supercell storm.

This photograph comes from German storm chaser and photographer Boris Jordan, who's car was also demolished by the hail that reached up to 9cm in diameter.
