    A dry and cloudy day with an extensive sheet of As for much of the day and a broken sheet of Sc below that. The As eventually moved away by late afternoon and there were a few sunny intervals by early evening as the Sc broke at times.

    A dry and breezy day with sunny intervals (in Reading - I was on the road much of the day between here and Exeter and we had a few showers in the afternoon).  Maximum 14.8, minimum 7.8.  Wind moderate E.
