Reminds of one of my best friends Gran from my college days..she refused to sell her farm to Tesco. When she died she left the farm to him and his brother..who then sold it to Tesco for £10million or thereabouts...he is doing very nicely in his villa in the south of France ta very much.

A business colleague bought some land on spec of planning for 400k ,got permission for a distribution centre for a well known company and sold it for 4.8 million ,nice work if you can get it indeed ...
