Glorious start here in central London not a cloud in the sky currently though some showers are possible later on for a time

Variable cloud cover overnight and a few light showers although, like yesterday, the focus of the showers was on the north western side of the Peak.

One or two brief, light showers earlier this morning but at the moment it's dry with sunny spells and a cool and fresh W/NW breeze.

Further moderate showers last night cleared just after midnight leaving clear spells. Bright and sunny spells this morning and a couple of light showers. The day saw moderate and heavy showers of rain and hail, thunder heard early afternoon. The showers cleared away by evening.

Ended up a pleasant enough day one brief shower and that was it. Breezy still though pleasant walking home in the sun.

A few light showers this morning but the afternoon was dry and increasingly sunny as most of the cloud dispersed.
