Awaking in Decatur today with a general risk of somewhere south of Odessa, Midland and Big Spring down to San Angelo today.

 

Marginal Supercells with 3500 jkg of Cape should promote very large hail and Structure hopefully before it all congeals into an eastward moving mess. Going to try to come in behind some of these cells today and find some big hail!

A quick stop @ Walmart for cycle helmets might be worthwhile if you are hail hunting, whereas in your case I suggest you get shoulder pads as well Paul.

Team seem to be heading towards a couplet containing severe warned storm north of Big Lake. Is the stream running or does it need a kick?

Do I see a hint of right turn on this one?

Shame the stream's down. Best to get on that supercell, the only severe-warned storm in Texas, before the cold front not far to the north undercuts it as it sags south.

I've pinged John about the stream, not sure if there's a problem somewhere or with the excitement of the start of the tour etc, they've maybe just forgotten to set it live today!

Is a tech problem with the stream at the moment, they're trying to get it going though, so fingers crossed.
