 Wet and windy weather continued until after midnight. The rain turned lighter through the early hours and the strong southerly wind veered westerly, moderate to fresh. Rain dying out before dawn leaving a damp and overcast start. Intermittent light rain this morning. further showery rain through the morning. The afternoon saw brighter conditions and a few blustery showers, very windy westerly with gusts close to gale force.
