Started out in Sterling with a target of Limon, got onto a non severe storm north of there which rapidly went onto become the Supercell of the day. This storm took off at 40mph eastbound in an area of no roads, so we went off road to chase which initially was a great idea until we ran into the tornado damage from the day before. One of the cars slid into the ditch and after getting that out we came across Jeff Piotrowski further down the road and managed to pull him out tug of war style with all 14 of us pulling on the rope.

Great days chasing and glad we never committed to the 500 mile drive to Nebraska which busted pretty badly!

Pictures to follow in a mo of the insane shelf cloud at Kanorado late in the day!

It was certainly a decent storm structure-wise, with as Paul says quite a bit of dirt tracks due to the poorer road network. We managed to keep ahead of the storm somehow, as it was racing eastwards and became very outflow-dominant, and caught this scene in Kanorado...
