But still not quite made it and this week at least will carry on the same.

We've reached 20C five times so far this year with a high max of 24.5C on Friday.

It took until 19th June to reach 20C in 1988 though and June 1985 had a high maximum of 19.7C so its not unknown to struggle to reach 20C by now even here.

Highest here a pathetic 19.0C last Friday and it was only reached in late afternoon. Morning and early afternoon saw temperatures around 11-12C.

Just ghastly and there's no sign that it will be improved upon. In 2013 it did not reach 20C until the last day of June. Records for the Aberdeen area show that the last time it wasn't reached until July was in 1932.

Last Friday reached 20.9c here, the first day over 20c this year.

In 1985 the first day of 20c or more was July 2nd and in 1991 it was July 4th, the latest date on record.

Finally topped 21C today. 11th June is just mad, especially considering the first 15C was January 9th!

Today is our 4th day of 20C - you wait ages for one and four come along at once! Though it's rather sad that 4 days of 20C is considered 'good' when it would usually be a poor showing.
