    Yesterday.

Dry and warm overnight, warmest night of the year so far. Cloud increasing. Bright and hazy sunny spells so far this morning. A good deal of Altocumulus castellanus early on this morning, this clearing before the observation, already feeling quite hot. Not as clear today, haze quite noticeable. Hot sunny spells, cloud building through the early afternoon with a thunderstorm breaking out close to the area though only a short moderate shower here. From mid afternoon onwards turning very hot in further sunny spells, high 33.1c around late afternoon. This was the hottest July day on local record (1991) and the second hottest day for any month, the hottest was 33.3c  in August 2003.

    Partly cloudy, 24.1C @ 14:26.

Reached 25.1C earlier, before a cumulus cloud blocked the sun - turning out to be a nice afternoon, until heavy rain/storms move through later. So Tuesday-Saturday will almost certainly see every day exceed 25C - a decent spell of weather by anyone's standards.

It just reached 38.6c near Liège, which is a shave off the all-time Belgium record, but thanks to cloud it's fortunately 'only' 30c here.
