the fog gave way to rain or drizzle at times, currnetly dry and not very warm(!) at 12.8C, more like late October

Rain in the early hours then blustery with sunny intervals and heavy showers all day.  Feeling particularly cool this afternoon as the temperature has dropped to around 13 deg C after a couple of prolonged showers.  Maximum 17.8, minimum 11.3.  Wind fresh SW.

A day worthy of early November.

After a mostly dry night rain arrived early this morning accompanied by hill fog. The rain died out by 0600 g.m.t but was replaced by persistent drizzle which lasted for the rest of the morning and with the temperature hovering around 8c.

A dry but foggy spell early this afternoon followed by moderate showers from 1445 g.m.t and with the fog persisting throughout.
