    A dry start to last night but showers moved in from the south west before midnight and there were further showers during the early hours, with hill fog developing by 0430 g.m.t.  Continuous light-moderate rain since 0630 g.m.t and the hill fog persisting.

    After a mild start temperatures didn't respond when the sun came out during the afternoon. Morning cold and wet at 10:30 I think the temp was 12.8C

    Max temp 14.8C now 13.3C

    A wet and foggy morning, the rain briefly heavy during mid-morning. Drizzle and light rain early this afternoon but it became dry by 1330 g.m.t and the cloud eventually broke to allow  sunny spells by late afternoon.

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average.
